Daily rainfall record set in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –Good Saturday afternoon! It was a rainy day in central Indiana as a cold front pushed through. Indianapolis picked up 1.09 inches of rainfall, breaking a daily rainfall record! The previous record was 1.07″ set in 1969. The average rainfall for the day is 0.10 inches.


Showers will clear out this evening and we’ll have fog develop tonight. Expect limited visibility for Sunday morning. Lows will be in the low 60s with temperatures rebounding to near 80 degrees Sunday afternoon.


The Colts take on the Broncos in Denver on Sunday. Kickoff is at 4:25 pm EDT and the weather should be nice! Temperatures will be in the mid-80s.


We’ll kick off the work week with highs in the low 80s on Monday with low humidity. Temperatures will warm through the week with highs reaching near 90 degrees by the end of the week.
