INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Four people were arrested Saturday morning after IMPD officers caught them allegedly burglarizing an east side home linked to a double homicide.

Around 9:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the home in the 3000 block of Gladstone Avenue, where police were investigating the discovery of two bodies found in a nearby alley Wednesday. One of the victims was identified as a “known associate” of the Grundy Crew, a notorious gang.

There, police found three armed suspects dressed in all black, carrying possible stolen property. They complied with officers commands and were taken into custody without incident. Another suspect that was “nonchalantly” walking away from the scene was also arrested.

All four suspects face preliminary charges. Police are not releasing their names at this time due to the active investigation.

Homicide detectives were requested and are following up with the investigation.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317)262-TIPS(8477).
