INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --Good Sunday evening! Fall officially arrives at 10:21 a.m. EDT Thursday but it won't feel like it! We're tracking a big warm up this week! Indianapolis has already had 28 90-degree days this year. The average is 14.6 days.

Monday will start out sunny with some patchy fog and temperatures in the upper 50s. Temperatures will rebound into the mid-80s in the afternoon with a light west wind.

A weak cold front will move in from the northwest Tuesday and bring a slight chance of rain to Indy and points northwest. The instability and lift are lacking so I'm not expecting much rain, if any at all with this system. Temperatures will climb through the week as a ridge of high pressure builds. Highs will reach near 90 degrees by the end of the week! It certainly won't be feeling like fall!

A stronger system will move in as we start the following after week after fall. Out ahead of the weather system we'll have a chance of storms both Saturday and Sunday. The powerful cold front looks to move in by Monday and bring a better chance of storms and a big cool down. That's beyond the 7 day so we'll track that as time gets closer! --Danielle Dozier
