INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - At least seven area churches are expected to march Sunday to promote peace and prosperity in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood.

Members of North United Methodist Church, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Common Ground Christian Church, Fairview Presbyterian Church, Meridian Street United Methodist Church, Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis will all march for their congregations around noon to James Whitcomb Riley School 43 following Sunday services.  At the school, the groups will pray for continued peace. The area hasn't seen a murder in 300 days.

This event is open to the public and part of the neighborhood's first ever Homecoming Weekend. Organizers hope the homecoming becomes an annual event.
