IMPD looking for suspect after robbery at southeast side Indianapolis Key Bank

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Police are investigating a bank robbery on the southeast side of Indianapolis.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the robbery happened around 10:38 a.m. at the Key Bank located at 4645 S. Emerson Ave.

A witness told police that the suspect entered the bank, approached the counter and passed a note to a teller. He then fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 40s, around 5’6,” wearing a reddish-orange sweater, a red T-shirt, a clear poncho, gray sweatpants and a dark hat. He was also wearing glasses, police said.
