Kroger frozen onion rings among six products recalled due to allergy risk

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — McCain Foods USA, Inc. is recalling six of their frozen onion ring products due to incorrect packaging information.

The company says the products do not declare milk as one of the ingredients. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the products.

The recall includes Kroger Brand Breaded Minced Onion Rings with production dates between March 9, 2015 (V150309) and July 24, 2015 (V150724).


Consumers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk are advised to check their freezers and should throw out unused product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
