Suspect arrested in connection with fatal stabbing in Muncie

MUNCIE, Ind. – Police in Muncie are investigating a fatal stabbing.

Police were called to the 2000 block of South Vine around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Officers found William Ludermilt, 27, at the scene suffering from a stab wound. Ludermilt later died from the injuries.

A coroner determined that the preliminary cause of death is hemorrhagic shock due to stabbing, and the manner of death in homicide.

Police arrested Jeremy Wayne Bisel, 37, who has been preliminarily charged with murder, battery resulting in bodily injury and battery with a deadly weapon.

The details surrounding Ludermilt’s death are unknown at this time.
