PITTSBORO, Ind. -- A man died early Monday morning after a single-vehicle crash in Hendricks County.

The Hendricks County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash, which happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of East 600 North near Pittsboro.

Deputies say the 20-year-old Dylan Keiser of Indianapolis was driving westbound when his vehicle left the north side of the roadway, impacted a tree and swerved into a nearby field. Keiser died at the scene of the crash.

The road was closed for around three hours while accident reconstructionists investigated and the vehicle was removed.

The reason the vehicle left the roadway is still under investigation, but speed is considered a contributing factor.
