LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. – Authorities in Oklahoma are looking for a man accused of killing two people and shooting three people, including two police officers, Sunday night.

Officers responded to a shots fired call around 6:30 p.m., according to KFOR. They said Michael Vance opened fire with an AK-47 and hit two Wellston police officers. He got into a patrol car and drove off, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.

He then shot a woman during a carjacking and took her vehicle, police said. Injuries suffered by the woman and the two officers were not life-threatening.

Police found the carjacked vehicle outside a home where they also discovered two people had been killed. Police said the victims are relatives of Vance; they believe he stole a silver 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse from the residence. He was last seen going westbound on I-40 near Sayre, Okla.

Police believe Vance has been shot at least twice. He’d recently gotten out of jail after being arrested in a child sexual assault case.

Vance is considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.
