Muncie police step up efforts against domestic violence

MUNCIE, Ind. — Muncie and Ball State Police are investigating an armed robbery near the campus of Ball State University early Wednesday morning.

Police report that a call came in just before 3 a.m. when a person reported that they had been approached by three men in the 1100 block of Carson Street. The suspects displayed a weapon during the robbery.

According to an alert from the Ball State website, one of the suspects wore a black hoodie and a “Scream” mask while another wore a white hoodie and a black bandana over his face. Police didn’t have a description of the third suspect.

Police have not released any details on what the robbers took from the victim but did say that the victim was not injured.
