Riley Hospital for Children patients cast ballots for best snack, movie and more

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health held a special election Tuesday afternoon.

During the “Child Life Fun Election,” children voted on five crucial topics: best snack, best color, best sport, best movie and best pet.

Here are the results, provided by IU Health:

Best Snack:

  • Popcorn: 31%
  • Potato Chips: 36%
  • Fruit: 32%

Best Color:

  • Red: 30%
  • Blue: 52%
  • Yellow: 14%
  • Purple, green and orange each received 1% in write-in votes.

Best Sport:

  • Football: 39%
  • Basketball: 27%
  • Baseball: 28%
  • Soccer, softball and ballet each got 2% in write-in votes.

Best Movie:

  • Finding Dory: 29%
  • Zootopia: 40%
  • Inside Out: 30%
  • Wall-E received 1% in write-in votes.

Best Pet:

  • Dog: 60%
  • Cat: 33%
  • Fish: 6%
  • Hamster received 1% in write-in votes.
