Crash involving school buses shuts down I-65 near North Split

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three lanes of I-65 northbound near the North Split were blocked Thursday morning after a crash involving a pair of school buses and a truck.

Indiana State Police said no students were on the buses. The crash happened near mile marker 111. Traffic was still slow in the area.

One bus was driven away from the scene while the second had to be towed. A pickup truck got wedged underneath one of the buses.
