Police seek man who set fire to laundry room at east side Indianapolis motel

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are trying to identify a man caught on camera setting fire to the laundry room at an east side Indianapolis motel.

Around 4:40 a.m. on Nov. 4, 2016, the man entered the laundry room at the Motor 8 Inn, 3731 North Shadeland Avenue, and started the fire.

He left the scene in a silver, four-door car. The fire caused several thousand dollars in damage, police said. IMPD released surveillance photos of the suspect and are hoping someone can identify him.
