INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --Good Saturday evening! Indianapolis recorded 30 degrees Saturday morning, marking the first freeze of the season. It's the first time the city has fell to freezing or below since April 12 of this year.  Today also marks the latest first occurrence of freezing or below since November 20, 1922!

Indy looks to fall to freezing again Sunday morning with a clear sky and light southwest winds 3 to 6 mph. Sunday will bring plenty of sunshine with above-average high temperatures in the upper 50s.

We'll kick off the work week with highs in the upper 50s and a mostly sunny. Temperatures will warm through the week with highs in the 60s by Tuesday.

I'm tracking a late-week storm system that may bring rain and thunderstorms Friday evening. It looks to turn very windy as well where gusts could reach 40 mph. Much colder air will wrap around the system into central Indiana Saturday. Stay tuned! --Danielle Dozier
