Police searching for man who robbed west side Dollar General store

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Metro police are searching for a man who robbed a Dollar General store on the city’s west side on Sunday.

Police say the crime happened in the 6600 block of West Washington Street around 7:12 p.m.

Officers say the black male suspect is around 5’8” to 5’10,”150 to 160 pounds, with a medium build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing black sunglasses, a black beanie cap with a white Jordan logo, a black hoodie, khaki pants and dark shoes with white trim.

Police say the man stole an unidentified amount of money and fled the store on a foot.
