Skies are clear and it is frosty to start this Monday morning! The cold shot from the weekend lingers out the door today with temperatures in the middle 20s and wind chills in the teens at sunrise (7:39 a.m.).
Sunshine will hold through the entire day and dry conditions too, as temperatures struggle back into the lower 40s. This will mark our third day straight of below average highs, but at least the winds have finally settled down.
We continue to watch the development of our next rain-maker for Wednesday. It is currently located in California and will begin its trek east over the next 48 hours! Although not a huge amount of rain is anticipated for Wednesday, roads will be wet and a higher volume of travel will inevitably slow major interstates at times. On the plus side, this is a Pacific storm, so it will keep things "mild," meaning no icy conditions!
