INDIANAPOLIS -- The Julian Center is hosting "themed giving weeks" this holiday season, focusing on a specific need each week leading up to Christmas.

Students from Herron High School came together to bring the first round of donations this season and some shared their personal connections to the cause.

The domestic violence shelter helps thousands of people in our area. Last year alone, The Julian Center received 11,000 calls to its 24/7 Helpline. Their staff housed 900 survivors for an average of 46 days and provided non-residential services to 5,000 individuals.
