Police apprehend suspect after chase ends in crash on city’s north side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis Metropolitan police arrested a man who led them on a chase on the north side early Tuesday morning.

The chase started just before 5 a.m. at Keystone and Millersville Road. The driver crashed in the 3800 block of Ruckle Street, ending the pursuit and leading to his apprehension.

Police said the suspect went to Eskenazi Hospital after complaining of pain from the crash.

Preliminary charges against the suspect include resisting law enforcement, possession of narcotics and auto theft.
