Big Ten Championship Returns to Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Big Ten Championship game returns to Indianapolis with Penn State facing off against Wisconsin Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Fans started to enjoy some of the pre-game hype at 10 a.m. with the Fan Fest inside the Indiana Convention Center and a Georgia St. tailgate sponsored by Meijer.
While many fans are in town for football, packing hotels and restaurants downtown, anyone can enjoy some of the tailgate action.
At 3:00 p.m. Saturday, world famous professional eater Joey “Jaws” Chesnut once again takes on the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail-Eating Championship at the Meijer Tail Greater Party. Coordinators of the event says 2016 marks the toughest competition for the eating contest.
Security at the Big Ten Championship Game will be tight. Fans can only bring in small clutch-size bags and gallon-size clear totes, either resealable or purchasable Big Ten totes.
The Badgers and Nittany Lions face off at 8:17 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium.
