Mike Pence directs flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Wednesday marks the 75th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

To honor those who lost their lives on December 7, 1941 and those who went on to fight in World War II, Indiana Governor and Vice President-elect Mike Pence has directed flags at state facilities to be lowered to half-staff at sunrise.

Pence also asks that businesses and residents participate in the lowering of the flag in honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

Flags should return to full-staff at sunset Wednesday.
