Celebrate national sangria day with these great recipes

Barefoot Wine & Bubbly created two recipes which are sure to "punch" up your holiday party.

Refreshing Red Sangria

  • 1 750ml bottle of Barefoot Refresh Summer Red Spritzer
  • 4 ounces Brandy
  • 1 ½ ounces Simple Syrup
  • 2 cups Frozen Raspberries
  • Juice from 2 Oranges
  • Juice from 1 Lemon

Place frozen fruits in a large pitcher. Add simple syrup and fresh juice from oranges and lemon. Top with brandy and Barefoot Refresh Summer Red. Stir. Cover pitcher and refrigerate. Allow mixture to marinate for 4 hours or overnight. Serve over ice.

White Sangria Spritz                                                                                                     

  • 1 750ml bottle Barefoot Refresh Crisp White Spritzer
  • 2 ounces E&J Gallo Brandy
  • 3 ounces Simple Syrup
  • 1 green apple – diced
  • 1 red pear – diced
  • 1 lemon – cut in small pieces
  • 1 rosemary sprig

Place fruit, rosemary sprig, brandy and simple syrup in a pitcher. Cover and allow to marinate for 2-4 hours or overnight. When ready to serve, add chilled Barefoot Refresh Crisp White Spritzer to the pitcher. Stir briefly. Serve over ice.
