Long time Indy Star reporter and first Colts beat writer, John Bansch, dies at age 81

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — One of the Indianapolis Colts first beat writers for the team when they moved from Baltimore to Indianapolis, John Bansch, has died at 81.

Bansch was employed by the Indianapolis Star and covered the Indianapolis Colts when they came to Indianapolis in 1984 for over a decade.
