FISHERS, Ind. — A crash closed all lanes of I-69 southbound near State Road 37/116th Street during the Friday morning commute.

INDOT cameras showed significant backups in the area after the crash.

According to INDOT, this started with a crash involving injury that led to a second crash before emergency units could arrive. It happened at the entrance ramp from 116th Street to southbound I-69.

Lanes briefly reopened to let some of the traffic through, but officials then closed the right lane so they could move one of the vehicles involved in the crash.

The ramp and all southbound lanes have reopened. Drivers should still expect slowdowns in the area.
