INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are looking for a suspect after a pair of armed robberies at area Subway locations.

Investigators believe the same man robbed Subway stores at Ditch and 86th and 56th and Emerson Friday morning.

In both cases, he ordered a sandwich, pulled a gun on employees and demanded money.

The suspect first robbed the store at 86th and Ditch around 9:00 a.m. Then, he drove more than 30 minutes to the store at 56th and Emerson. Police said they were able to recover surveillance video at both locations.

At one subway, the manger said the robber walked in calmly. He said the man was friendly, polite, and smiled, before demanding cash from the register.

Police said employees did exactly what they should have done and cooperated with the robber.

Police said he was wearing a black hoodie and a blue hat with a yellow Nike symbol. He may be driving a gold Chevrolet Impala.
