INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Saturday’s winter storm blanketed much of central Indiana in snow, causing travel issues.

The National Weather Service said at about 7:30 p.m. that 10.2″ of snow had fallen in Indianapolis, beating the record for the day.

Travel warnings, watches and advisories have been issued for counties around the region.

Temperatures are expected to rise into the 40s on Sunday, which will melt some of the accumulation.
