INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Several inches of snow have blanketed central Indiana.

The heaviest band of snow traveled over Hendricks, Marion and Johnson counties, leaving over 10 inches in some areas.

Some of the accumulation is expected to start melting when temperatures hit the 40s Sunday.
