Two killed, two injured following motorcycle accident on south side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident on the city's south side. Two people were killed and two others were taken to the hospital.

Around 11:30 Saturday night, units responded to a report of an accident with reported injuries near the intersection of South East Street and National Avenue.

Officials say three motorcycles were riding at a high rate of speed, when one of them crashed into a person on a bike. A 32-year-old motorcyclist as well as the bicyclist were killed.

The two other motorcyclists were also injured. Police say one remains in critical condition this morning. The other person is stable.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
