Police investigate fatal road rage shooting on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Police are investigating a shooting on the city’s northeast side.

Around 11:45 a.m., officers were called to an Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD) station located at 2970 Sherman Drive to assist with someone who had been driven there and was suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim, 31-year-old Brandy Brock, was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and later died.

Police were able to find a crime scene in the 6000 block of East 38th Street. After interviewing witnesses, investigators determined the incident was caused by road rage.

All parties involved have been detained, police say.
