IMPD remembers Officer David Moore

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Eight years ago, Officer David Moore was shot and killed. On Saturday, IMPD officers remembered Moore's service and sacrifice.

Moore, an Indianapolis native, was awarded the Purple Heart and the Medal of Honor. His family donated his organs to save the lives of others.

The man who shot Moore was caught and sentenced to life in prison.
