Man dies in hospital following shooting on west side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting on the west side of Indianapolis.

Officers were called to the 400 block of Radburn Drive, near 10th Street and Girls School Road, around noon Monday.

Police said a man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died. The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 22-year-old Quran Isaiah McCoy.

Investigators determined the shooting actually took place in the 7300 block of Halstead Drive.
