Operation Cookie Drop benefits military personnel

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Girl Scouts delivered more than 76,000 boxes of cookies to military personnel on Thursday. The delivery was part of Operation Cookie Drop.

When the Girl Scouts were selling cookies, Hoosiers could elect to donate purchases to men and women in uniform.

Cookies could also go to EMTs, police and firefighters.
