2 men stabbed during fight at Indianapolis banquet hall

A fight at a banquet hall ended with two people being stabbed early Sunday morning.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A fight ended with two people being stabbed early Sunday morning on the northwest side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m., police responded to the Casablanca Banquet Hall in the 4000 block of Georgetown Road.

Officers located two men suffering from apparent stab wounds.

EMS personnel took both victims to a nearby hospitals for treatment. Both men were in stable condition and are expected to survive their injuries.

Police believe the incident began as a fight between two separate groups but say they are still in the early stages of the investigation.
