  • Three people shot at Fort Harrison State Park

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a shooting that happened in Lawrence at Fort Harrison State Park Saturday night. Officials confirm three people were shot at a party at a rental cottage inside the park.  Conservation officers estimate 150 people were at the party. Two victims were taken by ambulance to area hospitals, while the third was transported by car.  All three victims are listed in stable condition.  Identities of the victims are being withheld as the investigation continues.   • DNR investigating shooting on Wabash River

    Tecumseh, Ind. – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a shooting that occurred on the Wabash River near Tecumseh, Indiana. Floyd Cheeseman, 39, of Terre Haute, was shot in the stomach.  He was taken to Terre Haute Regional Hospital where he underwent surgery.  His condition is unknown at this time. The shooting took place just before 8:00 p.m. on Saturday evening.  Investigators are still looking for a suspect. DNR was assisted by Terre Haute City Police and the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department.

  • IMPD investigating shooting on east side

    Indianapolis, Ind. – IMPD is on the scene of a shooting on the city’s east side that has left two people injured. The call came in just after 2 am near the intersection of English Avenue and South Catherwood Ave.  There, police found two males suffering from graze wounds.  One man was hit in the arm, while the other was hit in the head.   • Police investigating fatal accident near airport

    Indianapolis, Ind. – Multiple agencies are on the scene of fatal accident near the Indianapolis International Airport. The call came out shortly before 2 a.m.  on the northbound ramp of Ronald Reagan Parkway from the I-70 westbound ramp.     Hancock County, Ind. (November 27, 2015) – A Greenfield man is facing several charges following a tip that he was hunting illegally in Hancock County.   • Family’s tradition continues with 45th annual football game

      Indianapolis, Ind. (November 26, 2015) – A family’s longstanding tradition of playing a touch football game on Thanksgiving continues.  This year marks the 45th anniversary of the game. The family alternates game locations every year.  This year they played at North Central High School here in Indy.  Next year, it’s back to Chicago.   • Fishers Police warning drivers of water main break on Allisonville Road

    Fishers, Ind. (November 26, 2015) – Fishers Police Department is warning drivers to avoid Allisonville Road in Fishers. A water main break is causing a closure of the southbound lanes between 116th St. and Easy St.  The southbound lanes are expected to be closed until 2 a.m.  Northbound lanes are still open.  Fishers police encourage drivers to use caution and avoid the area if possible.
