Three-time Emmy award winning journalist Daniel Miller anchors FOX59 Morning News from 7-10 a.m. with Angela Ganote. He joined FOX59 in January 2021 after six years in Boston as a morning anchor at the FOX affiliate, WFXT-TV.
Miller is no stranger to Indianapolis and the Hoosier state — in 2015, before taking the job in New England, he was a weekend evening anchor/reporter for WISH-TV.
In 1998, Daniel graduated from High Point University in High Point, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He also spent a semester at Westminster College in Oxford, England studying British History.
Born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Daniel began his media career in college on the assignment desk and as an associate producer at WGHP-TV in High Point, North Carolina.
Daniel has been recognized by the Indiana Broadcasters Association for Breaking News Coverage during severe weather. He’s also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.
When he’s not on the air, Daniel’s hobbies include anything to do with being outdoors, reading, DIY projects and traveling to Europe. London, Iceland and Spain are his favorite places to vacation.
