Hannah Follman

Hannah is excited to be a part of the FOX59 team, but she is no stranger to the Hoosier state. Before arriving in Indianapolis, Hannah worked at WTHI-TV 10 in Terre Haute as a news and sports reporter, producer and anchor.

During her time at News 10 she was honored to be part of the 2022 Ohio Valley Emmy award-winning team for special event coverage on ”Remembering Detective Greg Ferency.”

Hannah is originally from the suburbs of Chicago. Growing up, she was a competitive figure skater who performed with Theatre on Ice in national competitions. She also was very involved in plays and musicals, and loved performing on stage.

In high school, she was a member of the award-winning forensics team, and in 2016, she won a spot in the national tournament for speech and debate in the humorous interpretation category.

Hannah attended Pepperdine University in Southern California, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in international business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. 

While at Pepperdine, she spent a lot of her time with the school’s television station as both a reporter and anchor for NewsWaves 32 and Good Morning Malibu. She also served as the co-host of the Malibu Tonight Show. Additionally, Hannah had the opportunity to live abroad for a full year in Switzerland, where she studied French and history.

In her free time, Hannah loves adventures ranging from exploring local hiking and biking trails to international travel. She also loves fitness and competes in triathlons and half marathons.
