I joined FOX59 in October of 2019 as a digital producer after moving from Fort Wayne. I have a passion for data and started helping the station’s efforts for data visualization and mapping from the onset.
In 2021, I had the opportunity to increase my efforts in data reporting, taking on a position as a Digital Investigative Reporter and Producer. While you may not see a lot of the work I do, you can see the impact it makes in the station’s coverage that involves data.
I started the station’s crime mapping project in June 2021 amid a record surge of homicides in Indianapolis. The analysis work that has gone into that project has helped contribute to two regional Murrow awards for the station.
I also have a drive for consumer news and am always on the lookout for things that impact consumers, including product recalls and alerts.
On the personal side, I married my wife in 2020, right before the pandemic took off. Since getting married, we have bought a house, adopted a dog, and had our first child. I look forward to growing with my family in the Indianapolis area.
