Kristin Kane joined Fox59 as Morning Anchor in December of 2013, however she is no stranger to the Midwest.
Kristin was born in St. Louis and grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She loves the 4 seasons – she even enjoys the snow!
Kristin graduated early from a small performing arts high school in New York City and then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in American History from Columbia University. While attending college, she interned for CBS and WCBS-TV.
Prior to moving to Indianapolis, Kristin was an Anchor/Reporter in Orlando at Central Florida News 13. She has also worked on-air at KRIV in Houston, WSFL in Miami, WICU in Erie, PA, and behind the scenes at WCBS in NYC and News 12 Westchester in Yonkers, NY.
Kristin is married to her college sweetheart, Tom. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with family and friends and they love to travel. At home, they enjoy going to the gym, roller blading, skiing, boating, hiking, and playing tennis. Since she moved to Indy, Kristin has been a regular volunteer at Girls Inc. Indy.
