    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Tyreke Evans has been dismissed and disqualified from the NBA for violating the league’s anti-drug program. “The Indiana Pacers were informed Friday by the NBA that Tyreke Evans has been dismissed from the league for a violation of the league’s anti-drug policy,” the team wrote in a statement. “We take these matters seriously and will reach out to Tyreke to offer our support.” Evans is eligible to apply for reinstatement in two years.     INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Juncos Racing’s Kyle Kaiser crashed during Indy 500 practice on Fast Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Kaiser lost control in turn three and backed into the wall hard about 45 minutes into the session.  The car almost flipped completely over before landing back on the wheels and sliding into inside wall.   • Andretti installs sign to celebrate 50th anniversary of 500 win

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – 1969 Indianapolis 500 champion Mario Andretti helped put the finishing touches on a street sign commemorating the 50th anniversary of his win at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.     INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indiana Fever began training camp Sunday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for its 20th season in the WNBA. Camp is the first experience in professional basketball for the third overall pick in last month’s draft, Teaira McCown. The center joined her Fever and Mississippi State teammate, Victoria Vivians (sitting out this season with a torn ACL) on the FOX59 red couch with Chris Hagan to talk about the upcoming season.
