    INDIANAPOLIS, In. (December 27th, 2014) –Detectives are investigating an apparent fatal shooting on the city’s north side Saturday night. At 6:22 p.m., officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched on calls of “shots fired” in the 2800 block of North Capitol Avenue.   • Police looking for suspect in northeast side shooting death

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 26, 2014)– A man was shot and killed Friday on the northeast side of Indianapolis. The shooting occurred at North Olney Street and East 31st Street just after 3:30 p.m. Jesse Young Jr., 23, of Indianapolis, was pronounced dead at the scene.     2 people, five dogs killed in Marion house fire

    MARION, In,  (December 27th, 2014) — A house fire that killed two people in Marion is under investigation.  The blaze was reported Saturday morning in the 1800 block of West 9th Street. Firefighters were called to the house around 9 a.m. after someone saw smoke coming from the home. The Grant County coroner and State Fire Marshall were on the scene.   • Fallen Indiana Airman laid to rest

    INDIANAPOLIS, In. (December 21th, 2014) – Today the community came together to remember an Indiana Airman who died unexpectedly in Guam. Alec Dye, 24, was laid to rest this afternoon at West Newton Cemetery with full military honors.  Family and friends attended a visitation before his burial Decatur Central High School. Dye was stationed with the United States Air Force when he went missing on December first.  His body was recovered a day later after an extensive search.

But, a ‘Rally for Justice’ this weekend continues. 49-year-old Cary Owsley was shot to death in April 2013.   Deputy Dwayne Janes was suspended for his role in the investigation.
