INDIANAPOLIS (July 24, 2014, via Indy Parks) – Indy Parks wants Hoosiers to get outside and enjoy the outdoors with its 2014 Summer Concert Series and Movies.

The Indy Parks Summer Concert Series presents a wide array of genres and amazing artists for all – from smooth jazz to rock and more in beautiful outdoor venues. We bring it all, from the Indianapolis Symphony played at Ellenberger and Garfield Parks, blues and jazz at Watkins Park, pops at Garfield Park, indie rock at Broad Ripple Park, folk and jazz at Eagle Creek Park, alternative rock at Ellenberger Park, local favorites at Holliday Park, and orchestral music in the Garden at Garfield Park Conservatory and Sunken Gardens.

Not to be missed this summer are “Movies On the Lawn!” Shown monthly on Saturday nights in a relaxed setting, the free summer screenings of popular titles invite park patrons to drive or bike to historic Garfield Park. Additionally, the MacAllister Amphitheatre will host six nights of “Camelot” in late summer.
