INDIANAPOLIS — Every day in the U.S., nearly 1,700 people will die from cancer and three times that number will learn they have cancer.

The most crucial factor for cancer survival is early detection, which is why Dr. Tarah Ballinger, an oncologist at IU Health, says screenings are so important.
