Sherman hit up the Dairy Bar (not Dairy Barn!) to see some of the yummy things on the menu, including the new Mint Cookie milkshake made with real Girl Scout cookie Thin Mints!

Britt Baker talked to some young 4Hers, who raise pigs and say the fair is also about hard work for them.

“We have to take care of them very specifically,” said Halle. “They’re on certain diets, and we have to walk them four times a week in order for them to be trained because we show them.”

We also had an opportunity to speak to some fair royalty! Indiana State Fair Queen Alyssa McKillip stopped by to share one of her favorite moments so far of her reign.

Lindy Thackston showed us some of the World of Speed exhibit and all the auto-themed activities and displays, including a very cool set of wheels that fans of Pixar’s “Cars” will love.

Sherman had another tasty assignment as he explained the Taste of the State Fair voting system. Save us a lemon shake-up!

Some of the live entertainment this year include live murals created by talent artists. Eric Pointer caught up with one in the middle of her masterpiece.
