INDIANAPOLIS — Indy’s Monumental Marathon is right around the corner, but whether you’re preparing for 26.2 miles or just starting out with exercise, stretching is crucial.

Stretching helps your body warm up for movement and cool down after, and it helps prevent injury.

This morning, StretchLab Carmel dropped by the studio to show hosts Jillian Deam and Ryan Ahlwardt how to limber up for a run — or any type of activity, really.

Ryan played guinea pig and tried out a few different stretches on the table. Did anyone else expect him to be that flexible?
