INDIANAPOLIS — Cold weather doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy city parks.

Indy Parks has added winter activities including ice skating at Holliday Park and decorating gingerbread houses at Broad Ripple Bark.

The outdoor ice rink is open through the end of January. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 2:30-6 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $13, including skate rental. Children 4 and younger skate free.

The Winter Gingerbread workshops are this weekend. Tickets are still available for Friday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m., but the Saturday morning event is sold out. Tickets are $11, and everything you need is provided.
