As the cleanup continues in Kokomo, tornadoes serve as a reminder that Hoosier families need emergency plans before disaster strikes.

September marks National Preparedness Month, and FEMA and the Ad Council are expanding their campaign to keep you and your family safe.

FEMA’s Josh Batkin joined FOX59 Morning News Thursday to discuss the campaign and what families need to keep in mind during a disaster.
