INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 29, 2015)–We are now just days away from a brand new year and there are still many celebrations you can attend to help ring in 2016.

On New Year’s Eve, Downtown Indy will put on a show that includes a free concert and other activities for both kids and adults. That event is free.

“The show goes on no matter the weather, so we’re hoping for better weather than last year,” said Amanda Dorman of Downtown Indy. “It was one of the coldest NYE that we’ve had in decades. Hopefully it’ll be a little warmer. Come dressed for the weather, layer up, get those little hand warmers, and we have that warming zone so you can always get inside as well.”

If you’re looking to stay warm and not stay up so late, the Children’s Museum has its annual Countdown to Noon.

“There will be all kind of projects where you can make things for your family, like time capsules, so you can remember what happened in 2015,” said Leslie Olsen of the Children’s Museum.
