Morning News

INDIANAPOLIS — Officials say trauma kits were used on two IMPD officers who were stabbed while responding to a call early Wednesday morning.

One officer was stabbed in the neck, and the other was stabbed in the chest. Authorities say it was these trauma kits used by fellow officers that helped save their loves.

Fraternal Order of Police president Rick Snyder provided some insight on the role of these trauma kits and how they can help in emergencies.
