When packing for your picnic it’s important to focus on foods that don’t require utensils and foods that don’t spoil or get soggy.

If you’ve ever packed a sandwich for a picnic and you load it up with lettuce and tomato and condiments, you may notice that it’s soggy by the time you get to eat it.

That’s why Kylee is sharing a recipe for sandwich skewers.

Essentially, they’re deconstructed sandwiches.

It’s likely you won’t want to eat a dry sandwich, so you can pack mustard packets or a non-dairy dip (less prone to spoiling). You can also make your own bean dip or pack hummus.
