INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 21, 2014) -- Shoppers are gearing up to save big money on their holiday shopping as Black Friday looms just one week away.

Walmart invited FOX59 News into its Greenwood location early Friday to highlight some of the sales it plans to hold on Black Friday and the Thanksgiving weekend overall.

A survey conducted by the National Retail Federation shows more than 60 percent of Americans say they will or may shop at some point Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.  That would be about 140 million Americans.

The NRF said 67.6 million holiday shoppers responded that they would definitely shop over the Thanksgiving weekend, which is down slightly from 2013's survey of 69.4 million anticipated shoppers.
