Police: 12-year-old boy carjacked by three other juveniles

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 25, 2015)–Metro Police are searching for three juveniles in connection with a carjacking on the city’s northeast side early Sunday.

Police say the suspects are two 12 year olds and one 16 year old. Adding to the uniqueness of this case, the victim is also a minor.

According to police reports, around 2:30 a.m., a 12-year-old boy was  warming up his father’s car in the 3900 block of Sadlier Drive, when he was assaulted and pulled out of the car by two young males.  The suspects reportedly took the car and fled.

The 12-year-old boy suffered some minor injuries in the assault.

The stolen vehicle was a silver Saab.  The owner is 36-year-old Heriberto Soriano.
